395,611. Reflectors. WILLIAMS, A. E., 84, Vyse Street, Birmingham. Jan. 9, 1933, No. 664. [Class 97 (i).] A reflector for a cinema projection lamp comprises a mechanically formed heavy metal base of high heat conductivity, an intermediate metallic film, and an outer reflecting surface of platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, or iridium. The base may be formed of copper, silver, or of nickel-copper, brass, bronze, or other alloy of these two metals, and is burnished before the application of the intermediate film which may be of silver, gold, or tin and which also is burnished before the application of the outer reflecting surface. The back of the reflector may be cooled by providing it with fins, by an air blast, or by circulating water or other liquid. Specification 363,569 is referred to.
