[Class 52 (v).] A garment hanger comprises a curved main bar a for the jacket, an intermediate bar g for the vest hinged to and spaced from the main bar by a single connecting member c projecting at right-angles from its central part, and a further rail member h for the trousers connected at its ends to the adjacent ends of the intermediate bar by tie-rods or hooks j. The bar a is provided with a hook b and brackets e to which the connecting member c is hinged by a rod d, a wing nut d<1> and spring washers e<1> enabling the member c to be adjusted angularly relatively to the main arm. The intermediate bar g is fixed to the other end of the connecting member c and carries the depending hooks j for the rail h which has washers h<1> at its ends to prevent endwise displacement. A further bowshaped bar m may be suspended from the intermediate bar g by rods o pivoted in rollended plates n. To support the hanger on a pedestal s, Fig. 4, a carrier member k, hinged at l to the central part of the intermediate bar g, is adapted to take into a socket s<1>. When supported in this manner the connecting member c is horizontal and the garment supporting bars are in different planes. The pedestal comprises foldable feet p pivoted to a sleeve r in which takes the pedestal s. The hanger may also be supported in a socket carried by a wall bracket of the lazy-tong type. The rod h may be connected to one of the hooks j by a cord or chain to prevent detachment.
