Abstract

394,813. Hand-stamps. CLARKE & SON, Ltd., J. T. and CLARKE, H. R., 60, Charles Street, Manchester. June 23, 1932, No. 17706. [Class 100 (ii).] A hand-stamp comprises a metal base A of double channel or double tee section with flanges b, b<1> projecting to the face and flanges d, d<1> projecting to the back to receive and protect a printing-pad B and an indicating- strip D respectively. The pad B is preferably an air cushion pad such as is described in Specification 286,881, [Class 100 (ii), Printing processes &c.], and is cemented within the recess formed between the flanges b, b<1>. The side edges of the base A may have flanges e, e<1> forming recesses to receive printed strips a<2> secured by cellulose or other cement, the strip D being similarly fixed in position.
