394,458. Saucepans &c. BAYLY, P., 165, Leighton Avenue, Leigh-on-Sea. Dec. 5, 1932, No. 10288. [Class 66.] A device for promoting the circulation of the liquid contents of saucepans &c. comprises a conical or pyramidal base portion A having rectangular recesses B in the bottom edge and semicircular apertures C disposed between but above the recesses, the upper part D of the base accommodating a slidable tubular part E having semicircular or V-shaped orifices F near the upper end, which is open. The device is inserted in the pan with the part E raised ; it is depressed to be at the maximum permitted height by the application of the lid, which covers the open end.
