[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, April 30, 1932.] Drawings .to Specification. [Class 38 (iv).] An epicyclic variable-speed gear has the free element of the gear fitted with a brake whereby the speed of rotation of the free element and hence the speed ratio may be controlled. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes a modification in which the casing carrying the bevel satellite pinions is connected by bevel gearing to a dynamo connected in circuit with an adjustable resistance or a motor and adjustable resistance. This ,subject-matter does. not appear in the Specification as accepted.
