391,940. Floors. FERNEYHOUGH, J., The Gables, Senga Road, Hackbridge, Wallington, Surrey. Feb. 20, 1932, Nos. 5107 and 25628. [Class 20 (iv).] Floors and like structures are formed by laying precast bevel-sided rectangular concrete frames a side by side on supports, casting concrete in the joints between the bevelled sides of adjacent frames, and completing the upper surface or both upper and lower surfaces by slabs u, hollow blocks t, boards, or metal lathing j, r. The openings in the frames may converge upwards or downwards, and the frames may have cross ribs and be rebated or flanged to receive the coverings. Alternatively, the coverings may be incorporated in the frames during manufacture. The reinforcements r, v, y may be united by stirrups with the bars b1 in the joints, and the joints may be made wider by spacer strips at the bottom. Recesses l accommodate pipes, or the cross ribs may be shallower than the sides.
