Abstract

A process for preparing a moulding composition comprises coating a filler, e.g. abrasive grains, with a liquid coating composition containing a potentially reactive artificial resin and subsequently increasing the proportion of resin in an advanced stage by dissolving in the resinous coating a dry brittle resin in the A stage in order to render the coating on the filler non-tacky prior to moulding the composition into shape.
