391,708. Cutting paper. CARLAW & SONS, Ltd., D., 31, Finnieston Street, RITCHIE & SON, Ltd., A, 91, James Street, and CARLAW, D., 31, Finnieston Street, both in Glasgow. Nov. 2, 1932, No. 30852. [Class 31 (i).] Stationary-cutter apparatus.-A paper-cutting machine having cutters 1, 2 at each side for trimming the longitudinal margins of the web, is provided with nozzles 6 adjacent to the cutters for directing compressed air on the severed strips to blow them clear of the cutters. The nozzles may be interconnected by a pipe 8 communicating with a blower or air compressor. The cutters may be those described in Specification 391,040.
