391,166. Emergency-exits for vehicles. WARREN, F. and WARREN, S. F., 27, Lowick Road, Harrow, Middlesex. Oct. 19, 1931, Nos. 20093/32 (divided on 391,164) and 20202/32 (divided on 392,927, [Group XXI]). Drawings to Specification. [Classes 103 (iv) and 108 (i).] A public service road or rail-road vehicle is provided with at least one manual control inside the body of the vehicle for starting a fire-extinguisher operating. For example, an omnibus is provided with three controls arranged respectively on the upper deck, on the conductors' platform, and in the driver's cabin. The controls may operate through mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical transmission gear. They may be associated with the emergency exit of the vehicle, so that actuation of the extinguisher coincides with the opening of the exit.
