June 23, 1931, No. 18169. Convention date, June 24, 1930. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Drawings to Specification. [Class 37.] In an arrangement for measuring alternating currents and pressures using a direct current measuring-instrument and rectifiers, in order to reduce distortion of wave-form by the rectifiers and to compensate for scale errors introduced by the rectifiers, a transformer having a high leakage is interposed between the A.C. to be measured and the measuring apparatus. For current measurements the transformer may have " high saturation." The transformer may be designed also to have both high leakage and " high saturation."
