388,589. Rectilinear-motion bearings. DEHN, F. B., 103, Kingsway, London.- (Eustis Specialty Co., Inc. ; 2044, East 45th Street, Los Angeles, U.S.A.) April 4, 1932, No. 9645. [Class 12 (i).] A ball-bearing carrier for a horizontallysliding sash or the like consists of a channel having outwardly bent strengthened edges 16, 17 which ensure that the housing 15 is wide enough for the moving edge of the sash. The ball holder consists of a piece of sheet metal crimped at 23 and bent at 23a having holes 20 and semicircular cuts at the edges, and bent to the shape illustrated in Fig. 4, the balls being inserted during bending. The bearing on the door consists of a reversely bent channel member 31.
