388,495. Steam - boiler fireboxes. HALMAN, H., 60, Hewson Road, and RUSTON & HORNSBY, Ltd., Waterside South, both in Lincoln. Nov. 17, 1931, No. 31819. [Class 123 (ii).] The foundation ring a of locomotive-type fireboxes is made of inverted T-shape in cross section, the internal and external shells b, c being riveted or otherwise secured to the vertical limb and their bottom edges b<1>, c<1> bearing upon the horizontal limbs d of the ring. Welding or caulking at points b<2>, c<2> may thus be effected from above the ring.
