Abstract
387,546. Reproducing music &c. VOGT, H., 17, Genthinerstrasse, Berlin. April 14, 1932, No. 10728. Convention date, April 30, 1931. [Class 40 (iv).] In a system employing a plurality of electrostatic loud-speakers S1, S2, Fig. 1, responsive to different frequency ranges or a single instrument subdivided into different ranges, Fig. 2, ohmic or inductive impedances W1, W2, are inserted in the input leads to the low-frequency section S1 in order to prevent a shunting effect on the high frequencies. In Fig. 1, the biasing potential is applied between the mid-point of the transformer t and the instrument diaphragms. In Fig. 2, no separate biasing potential is provided, the anode of the screen-grid valve being connected directly to the diaphragm whilst the full anode potential is connected across the fixed plates.
