Abstract

384,779. Envelopes. ELLENS, W. E., Tresco Brow, Chesham Road, Berkhamsted, and DICKINSON & CO., Ltd., J., Apsley Mills, Hemel Hempstead, both in Hertfordshire. Nov, 24, 1931, No. 32537. [Class 146 (ii).] Envelopes adapted to be used for collecting money are bound up in book or block form and are constructed from blanks having two envelopes on each blank, the respective envelopes being attached together sealing-flap to sealing-flap. In the form of blank shown in the Figure, the sealing-flaps 8 are separated by a strip of paper having lines of perforations 16, 17 which facilitate separation of the two envelopes and the strip. The block of envelopes is secured together and, if necessary, to a cover by means of wire stitches &c. which pass through the intervening portions of paper between the sealing-flaps. The line of perforations 16 and the central incisions 18 may be omitted.
