Abstract

384,514. Photographic cameras. BARNWELL, A. E., Westerly, Barnt Green, Worcestershire. March 23, 1932, No. 8598. [Classes 97 (i) and 98 (i).] The movement of a screw focusing lens mount is limited by a stop carried by a spring member which follows up the movement of the mount and is returned thereby. As shown, a flat, curved band g is secured against the camera front a around the lens for the main portion and is provided with a spring end portion c adapted to engage the rear of a flange h on the screw lens mount b. The band g is furnished with stop lugs d, e which lie in the path of a radial pin f on the mount. The lens may be located in intermediate positions by a boss on the rear of the flange h snapping into depressions formed in the band g.
