Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain excellent picture quality even at a circumference with regard to short-distance photographing by permitting vaious specifications of a gauss type or modified gauss type photographic lens to meet prescribed requirements. CONSTITUTION:The focal length of the whole system is denoted as 1, and while the force of refraction of a group before the aperture is denoted as phi1, that of the rear group is denoted as phi2. In this case, formula I should be satisfied. For short-distance photographing, the whole system is drawn out and at the same time, air interval D5 where the aperture is equipped is widened. When the extent of the correction of the interval is denoted as DELTAd and the extent of the movement of the rear group as DELTAS, formula II is satisfied. Consequently, deterioration in aberration in short-distance photographing, specially in outward coma aberration is corrected, so that excellent picture quality can be maintained as far as the circumference.
