Abstract
Cellulosic plastic compositions are extruded through a die of the required form, directly into an aqueous treating bath for the removal of the solvents. The bath may contain an antiblushing agent, e.g. 20-40 per cent of alcohol, or salt, or sugar. The concentration of the antiblushing agent is gradually reduced. The process is described particularly with reference to the production of sheets for use in safety glass.
