Abstract

382,272. Spring mattresses. PARTING- TON, F., White Lodge, Queen's Drive, Blackpool. July 15, 1931, No. 20282. [Class 52 (iv).] The edges of a mattress mesh supported by vertical upholstery springs are prevented from moving inwardly by means of flexible metal strips b extending from end to end of the surface. The bottom of the mattress may be constructed similarly to the top or may be formed in two sections and the upper flexible strips may then be hinged in the middle to permit folding.
