Abstract

381,922. Insulators. GARLAND, C. S., Oaklands, Battenhall, Worcestershire. July 8, 1931, No. 19669 and 19670. [Class 36.] The head 5 of an insulator pin 2 is formed with continuous flanges 6 integral with the pin between which is inserted a retaining spring 7. In the construction of Fig. 2, a bolt 8 has a detachable head 9 with an externally screwed plug portion 10 adapted to engage a socket formed in the bolt. The head 9 and the top of the bolt shank form flanges between which is housed the retaining ring 11. In a modified construction, an annular nut on the bolt head forms the upper flange.
