381,011. Multi - way plug valves. AUGER, J., Elk Lake, Ontario, Canada. Dec. 3, 1931, No. 33578. Convention date, Dec. 3, 1930. [Class 135.] A multi-way rotary plug control valve for use in fluid pressure control, such as locomotive control or drilling machinery comprises a casing A having a single pressure supply conduit 20, a plug 11 having right-angle feeding passageways 21 and a pair of connecting discharge passageways 23, 24 for connection alternately to external pressure conduits 30, 29 leading to the motor piston 28 or other place of use. Exhaust passageways 25, 26 are also formed in the plug in different planes and at an angle to each other to connect the external conduits 29, 30 in turn with exhaust lines 31, 32 leading to a common discharge conduit 33. The control valve may be set so that the supply and exhaust passages are closed whereby the operated devices may be held in a set or inoperative position.
