379,553. Disinfecting closets &c. BRAIN, T. H., 4, Manhattan Mansions, Holloway, London. Oct. 26, 1931, No. 29625. [Class 26.] A device for disinfecting a closet &c comprises a receptacle A, containing disinfectant &c. in the form of a block B or of crystals placed within a container, which is secured by means of suckers F or a wire loop &c. upon the pan and in the path of the flushing-water, so that a certain amount thereof is trapped, impregnated with disinfectant &c. and is subsequently discharged through a siphon E. The receptacle may be open at the top or may be covered with a grating &c., and the disinfectant may be supported by a strainer C which may be adapted to delay the passage of water through the device, for which purpose the bore of the siphon E is also suitably dimensioned.
