H., The Laurels, School Road, Castle Bromwich, Birmingham. Oct. 1, 1931, No. 27311. [Class 24.] Relates to bucket-conveyer chains of the type comprising links formed of pairs of plates a, b, g, h, Fig. 1, spaced by rivets c and hinged together by the bucket axles and pins k, l passing through sleeves d secured to the ends of the inner links, and consists in forming the outer ends of the axles and pins with two flats n, Fig. 2, arranged at an angle to one another to coact with a correspondingly shaped aperture in the plate g of the outer link members. The sleeves d are formed with serrations at one end and driven into the apertures in the inner link plates. The axles and pins are provided with cross holes q for cotter pins and passages p for force lubrication.
