[Class 52 (iv).] The upper coils of an assembly of upholstery springs d are resiliently interconneeted by spring bands c consisting of spiral springs wound with a large pitch and pressed flat. In the preferred arrangement the rows of upholstery springs alternate transversely with rhombiform elements e made of the pressed spring bands, and are separated longitudinally by longitudinal bands.
