375,927. Heating liquids by electricity. AUTOMATIC STEAM STERILIZERS, Inc., Chrysler Building, New York, U.S.A. April 27, 1931, No. 12373. Convention date, Aug. 23, 1930. [Class 39 (iii).] A liquid heater or steam generator comprises elements b traversed by the liquid and resistances wires a suspended freely from their upper ends all arranged in a vacuum or inert gas chamber c. The chamber c is of vitreous material and is formed with a jacket series connected with the coil b. The resistance wires are suspended by tungsten wires f<1> from an insulating plate f<2> mounted on a tungsten rod f.
