Abstract
374,328. Sanitary convenience arrangements for beds. TIGHE, F. A. M., Milverton, West Malling, Kent. Aug. 11, 1931, No. 22696. [Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iv).] A bedstead provided with a sanitary convenience arrangement comprises in combination a mattress support 11 .. 14 having a removable portion 12 carrying, on its underside, guide rails 28 to receive the rim of a chamberpot 29, a removable mattress section 20, a waterproof sheet 25, registering holes 26, 23, 24, and a conduit 27 leading from the hole 26 and extending into the chamber-pot. The part 30 acts as a stop to locate the chamberpot, or the latter may be placed within a carrier, Fig. 4, with flanges 36 to engage the rails 28. Specifications 23379/94, 8970/02, 2639/04, [all in Class 52, Furniture &c.], 22859/12, and 128,097, [both in Class 52 (ii), Furniture for sitting &c. upon], are referred to.
