Abstract

In a process for shrinking woollen and union cloths, the goods are treated during and immediately after the shrinking process with a liquid containing wetting agents, such as soaps, turkey red oil, saponine or organic sulphonic acids. Organic solvents may also be added to improve the wetting effect.
