371,951. Vehicle spring suspension systems. HORSTMANN, S. A., Onega Lodge, Upper Bristol Road, and HORSTMANN, Ltd., James Street West, both in Bath. Dec. 1, 1930, No. 9740/32. Divided on 369,986. [Classes 103 (vi) and 108 (ii).] In a vehicle spring suspension system in which an axle-box 15 is movable vertically in guides 6a, 6b, a yoke 14 seated on the axle-box is pivoted at its ends to levers 2, 2<1> which are in turn respectively pivoted to links 1, 1<1> articulated on the vehicle frame 6, resilient compression elements 4, 4<1> being interposed between each link and the adjacent guide bracket of the anxle box. In the form shown, struts 16, 16<1> respectively articulated to pivots 13, 13<1> bear on one end of the helical springs 4, 4<1> which have their other ends housed in recesses in the guide brackets.
