[Class 38 (i).] Direct connections between conductors.-Adjacent surfaces of electric contacts are protected from corrosion by covering them with a conductive composition that is devoid of electrolytic action. A mixture of lanoline or petroleum jelly with graphite may be employed and a neutral organic solvent such as toluene or naphtha may be added to give fluidity to the paste. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) stated that powdered metals could replace carbon. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
