369,527. Fan installations for furnaces. SCHMIDT'SCHE HEISSDAMPF-GES., 2, Rolandstrasse, Wilhelmsh÷he, Cassel, Germany. Sept 25, 1931, No. 26755. Convention date, Dec. 10, 1930. [Class 51 (i).] A forced and induced draught fan installation for furnaces comprising a flue gas fan 9 and a smaller air supply fan 8 driven by the same motor, such as a steam turbine 6, has the air supply fan 8 mounted directly on the turbine shaft while the flue gas fan 9 is driven by the motor through reduction gearing enclosed in the casing 10.
