369,121. Coke oven doors. LIMBERG, H. J., 3, Olgastrasse, Essen, Ger many. July 24, 1931, No. 21228. Conven tion date, Oct. 29, 1930. [Class 123 (i).] A coke oven door c is provided at its rim with an asbestos rope packing g for making a gas tight joint with the door frame b. This rope is partly enclosed in a thin metal sheath f with which it is faced at the part abutting the door frame, and in a flange e which extends between the door and the rope, but leaves a portion g<1> of the inside surface of the rope in direct contact with the door. An adjustable frame h of L-section is fixed to the door flange.
