Abstract

368,962. Tiles for walls and roofs. SIBLEY, T., Westover House, Crewkerne, Somerset. Feb. 26, 1931, No. 6041. [Classes 20 (iv) and 87 (i).] In a tile of the kind having a hanging-rib on its undersurface to engage a wooden lath, and a tail to engage the lath next above, the rib 5 projects downwards to engage the upwardly bevelled lath 3, and the tail and body of the tile are formed in the same plane. In the form shown in the Figure, the lower edges 7 of the laths are cut away to receive the tails of the tiles. In a modification, the tails of the tiles are recessed to fit against the laths.
