Abstract

368,370. Colour photography. THORNER, W., 19, Kleiststrasse, Berlin. Dec. 1, 1930, No. 36215. [Classes 97 (i), 98 (i) and 98 (ii).] In reproducing positive films from colourrecord negative films having the records in alternating sequence, the relative distances of the images on the negative film are reduced to a standard distance on the positive film. The process is carried out by projection printing in equal size, the ratio of reproduction being slightly varied in successive sets of images. In the form shown the negative film f is projected by means of a light source i<1> and condenser i on to the positive film g by the objective h. A notch is formed in. the film f corresponding to each set of images and co-operates with a lever n<1>, n, connected by a link o to the objective h which is mounted for axial movement on arms h<1>. The depths of the notches are adjusted to obtain the correct alteration of focus.
