Aug. 11, 1930, No. 24017. Convention date, Aug. 16, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 130.] Combs used in feeding tobacco and like materials, as in a continuous-rod cigarettemaking machine consist of separately pivoted fingers 36 supported in seatings in a hollow casing 35 and its cover 40. Springs 44 attached to setscrews 46 and bearing on projections 49 press the fingers against the tobacco. The ends 36b are convex as shown, and the surface of the casing 35a concave to correspond with that of the carding roller 13.
