Abstract
367,118. Roller slides. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. Jan. 12, 1931, No. 1050. Convention date, Jan. 17, 1930. [Class 98 (i).] A winding-off box for oscillographs and the like comprises a fixed casing inside which the takeup spindle rotates, stirrups being provided on the inside of the casing, resiliently mounted with their free ends bearing on the spindle. In the form shown the paper strip is fed from the roll 1 by rollers 3, 4 of which the latter may be a pin roller, past the slit 5 where the exposure is made. The strip then passes between the lips 9 of the casing 8 and between the stirrups 12 and the roller 10. The roller may be spiked to facilitate feeding and is driven by a slide-coupling 21 from the wheel 18 to which all the rollers are coupled.
