Abstract

262,170. Duchard, H. M. Aug. 26, 1925. Kinematograph apparatus.-Endless kinematograph film strips are formed into a coil which is loosely suspended from a single freely-rotatable holder, the strip being withdrawn from the interior of the coil by the apparatus and being returned to the exterior of the coil. The coil a<1> may be formed by winding the strip on the holder b with the aid of a distance piece h which is afterwards removed. The holder comprises a drum having a disc b<1> and arms e carrying rollers e', the drum being mounted on an inclined spindle c. The strip is fed from the interior of the coil over a roller having its axis so inclined to the axis of the drum that the strip clears the side of the coil.
