Abstract

367,085. Current and pressure meters. WESTON ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT CORPORATION, 614, Frelinghuysen Avenue, Newark, New Jersey, U.S.A. Dec. 15, 1930, No. 37808. Convention date, Oct. 30. [Class 37.] A multi-range ammeter, or volt-ammeter, particularly of the moving-coil type, wherein switch contacts and resistance shunts are provided for the various ranges, has individual fuses for each adjustment of the current meter, and provision is made in the instrument casing for housing spare fuses. As shown, the ammeter fuses Fl .. F4 are mounted between the switch contacts C<1> .. C<4> and a bus-bar 26, a voltmeter fuse 17 being provided. S<1> .. S<4> are the shunt resistances and 13 represents series resistances in the volts circuit. The spare ammeter fuses are carried in recesses 36 by springs 37, spare voltmeter fuses 39 being mounted on springs 38. The cover parts 31 and 34 are hinged to the main casing 30, the part 34 being secured by a spring clip 35.
