Abstract
366,419. Pressure meters ; combinations of instruments ; meter casings. LANDIS ET GYR SOC. ANON., 1, Hofstrasse, Zug, Switzerland. July 24, 1931, No. 21147. Convention date, July 26, 1930. [Class 37.] A small capacity watthour meter with a load resistance and a time measuring device are combined in a casing for measuring mean voltage on a supply system. As shown, the energizing windings e, g of the meter b and time device d, as well as the meter winding f which is in series with the load resistance c, are connected in parallel at the terminals of the switch h. The time device may be an induction disc type motor with escapement regulation, or a synchronous motor may be employed to drive the time mechanism. The gearing ratio to the counter i is such that at normal volts it is equal to the gear ratio to the counter k. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states that the energizing winding of the time device may comprise the load resistance, and that writing surfaces may be provided on the casing for both the meter and time counters, the figures being evaluated on a calculating apparatus which may be provided on the rear of the casing. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
