[Class 3 (ii).] A mounting whereby the similar electric lamps of luminous signs are connected together in a line of any shape comprises cylinders m furnished with sockets n into which the lamps b are screwed. The cylinders m are held together by metal clips p which ensure electrical contact between the cylinders by the pressure on the metallic cylinder sides, or by reaching down to the cylinder bases o when these alone are of metal. The outer ends of the clips p carry insulated springs s which bear on the lamp centre contacts.
