Abstract

277,829. Harper, H. R. F., and Dixonia, Ltd. Nov. 8, 1926. Holders.-In holders of the kind comprising an insulating block 17 carrying a socket 11 to receive a lamp bulb and two pivoted contacts 13 adapted to be pressed upon the bulb contacts by springs 18 arranged either above or beneath the pivots, each contact strip is assembled with its binding post 22 and the spring control as a unit for connection to the insulation block. In the construction shown, the contacts pivot about their outer ends which bear on carrier bars 15 integral with the binding posts and by which the units are attached to the holder.
