[Class 80 (i).] A corrugated V-driving- belt, which may engage with a grooved pulley or with a pulley provided with corrugated lagging as described in Specification 365,294, has a central inextensible core 2 consisting of a continuously - wound cord 1 embedded in rubber and inner and outer sections 3 of fibre-rubber mixture, the fibres being generally transverse to the belt length. The inner face, and preferably also the outer face, is corrugated and covered by a layer of bias-laid rubberized fabric 5, 8. The inner corrugations are free of fibre and extending therethrough are longitudinally or spirally arranged threads 7 to give transverse rigidity to the cogs.
