Abstract
363,939. Screw propeller installations. HULSE, J. W., 42, Ledward Street, Wharton, Winsford, Cheshire. May 2, 1931, No. 13000. [Class 114.] Screw propeller installations of the kind wherein two propellers are rotated on coaxial shafts in opposite directions are provided with gearing whereby the relative speeds of the propellers are constant. The motor M through a shaft L and pinion J drives two pinions H, E on shafts K, C. The shaft C drives direct to a propeller B and the shaft K drives through pinions G, F on to a coaxial hollow shaft D carrying the propeller A.
