[Class 83 (i).] In casting radiators, as in the parent Specification, each tube end 1 is provided with a number of slots 8, Fig. 2, parallel with the axis. A core 4, Fig. 1, is arranged to fit the inside of the tube end so that the molten metal passes into the slots 8 but does not enter and reduce the bore of the tube.
