Convention date, Oct. 9, 1929. [Class 144 (i).] The hub-shell 10 of a detachable metal-spoked artillery wheel comprises a barrel portion on which the wheel centre 22 is seated and secured, as by welds 26, and a radial flange 11 for attachment to the flange 13 of the permanent hub 14. The wheel shown comprises two stampings 18, 19 welded together at 20 and formed with flanged centres 23, 24 which may be welded together and to the hub-flange 11.
