379,203. Vehicle wheels. BUDD WHEEL CO., 2500, Hunting Park Avenue, Philadelphia, U.S.A.-(Assignees of Hawke, A. E. ; 5161, Martindale Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A.) Jan. 8, 1932, No. 612. Convention date, Jan. 8, 1931. [Class 144 (i).] The tubular spokes 13 of a built-up metal wheel. are secured to the rim 12 by means of caps 15 press-fitted into the spoke hubs and formed with domed centres 16 permanently secured to the rim, as by plug-welds 19. The caps are also preferably formed with flanged edges 18 which may be welded to the rim.
