Abstract
359,874. Locks. LE MONNIER, F. C., 2, Place Carnot, Rouen, France. April 20, 1931, No. 11667. Convention date, May 12, 1930. [Class 44.] A lock in which the bolt 17 is manually shot by a handle 13 into the locking position is unlocked by two keys one of which is inserted on to a pin 5 and turned to displace a pawl 6 to release a spring- pressed shutter 4 normally masking the keyhole proper; the second key, which is recessed to fit a stub on a cam 3, is then inserted and turned to actuate the cam 3 and thereby rock a lever 2 to permit the bolt 17 to move under the action of a spring 12 into the unlocked position. Locking is effected by manually moving the bolt handle 13 forward and then depressing a knob 14 to move the shutter 4 into the masking position where it is retained by the pawl 6.
