[Class 80 (i).] Endless yieldable solid belts of approximately trapeze-shaped cross section, for use with V-grooved pulleys have their working sides 6 made initially concave so that when curved over an average pulley they become straight and contact with the pulley over their entire area. The concavity is preferably on a radius of 2# ins. and the included angle may be 35‹. The belt is formed in an endless circular mould and comprises inextensible central cords 1, rubber composition 2, and rubberized fabric walls 3, the warp and weft of which are oblique to the axis.
