359,520. Grinding. TOMLINSON, C., 6, Lonsdale Terrace, and WALKER, W. W., 30, Gillespie Crescent, both in Edinburgh. July 14, 1930, No. 21213. [Class 60.] Strops.-A device for sharpening safety razor blades consists of a piece of glass or glass-like material having a concave surface over which the blade is moved to sharpen it. The glass may be in the form shown in Fig. 2, with a concave surface B, in the form shown in Fig. 4, or may have two opposed concave surfaces, or two pairs of opposed concave surfaces on a block of approximately square cross section. A handle for the device may be provided, or a portion of the device may be roughened or serrated to form a grip. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 325,672 and 338,346, [both in Class 60, Grinding or abrading &c.].
