Tools.-A sharpener for safety razor blades consists of a block 5 of wood, fibre, metal, rubber, &c. having one face formed with a longitudinal extending concavity 6, of areshaped cross-section; the concave surface of the entire block may be coated with a layer 7 of abrasive material. The blade is placed on the tool with its edges resting on portions of the concave surface and is given a rotary movement thereon.
