[Class 100 (i).] Sheet-registering devices.-Sheets are registered on the platen a of a press by means of movable registering devices n, o which are moved in opposite directions to engage the side edges of sheets on the platen by means of a single operating-device which consists of a lever f acting on a projection e on one of the guide pins c, i of carriers b, k supporting the registering-devices. The lever f is connected by means of bar h which extends through the platen to the carrier k of the registering-device o. As shown, the carriers b, k are guided by rods c, i and also by other rods engaging apertures in the platen, but the guides for the carriers may be arranged on brackets d attached to each side of the platen, similar to the one which supports the lever f and guide pin c.
