[Class 61 (ii).] An adjustable templet for determining the angular shape of voussoirs, such as L<1>, G, G<1>, Fig. 3, comprises two straight edges A, B, Fig. 1, connected together by swivel nuts C, C<1> and right and left screws D with graduated heads D<1> to enable the straight edges to be set to the angle of the taper of the voussoirs, pivoted links E, E<1> with a clamping bolt E<4> being provided for clamping the straight edges in set position. The templet is used as shown in Fig. 4 for setting side members F<1> of a box F so that the top edges of the sides F provide a saw guide for sawing the voussoirs clamped in the box to the required taper. The templet is also employed in conjunction with an adjustable cross-arms device K, J for cutting the end bevels of the voussoirs. The arms K, J are set and clamped to angle #, Fig. 7, and placed against edge B with arm K bearing against a fixed pin H, Fig. 8, and the reading noted on a scale I on edge A, which scale has its index point opposite pin H. The arms are then transferred to straight-edge A, Fig. 9, arm K being set whilst still clamped to the previous reading on scale I ; arm K is then released and moved into contact with pin H, angle # giving the bevel angle for voussoirs G, G<1>. Angles # are set off on base of holder N, N<1>, N<2>, Fig. 10, and the voussoirs held therein are sawn off along the lines Z, Z, Z<1>, Z<1>. This process is repeated for determining the bevels of all the voussoirs.
